November CE Seminar Notice 11月再教育講座通知

Two seminars will be held on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008 from 10:00am to 5:00pm (6 hours) at Room A122a of Langara College, 100 West 49th Avenue, Vancouver. We will invite Dr. Jingen Yi and Dr. Weidong Yu to share their valuable knowledge and experience with us. Please reserve your seat at 604-278-6220.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE 专家简介
Dr. Jingen Yi graduated and obtained master degree from Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. He was Deputy Director of Spine Department of Wang Jing Hospital. Dr. Yi has more than 20 years’ of TCM clinical experience and he is good at orthopaedics and traumatology, especially in diagnosis and treatment of spine and related diseases. The seminar will discuss about intervertebral disc’s dissection physiology and pathogeneses, including reason, symptom, diagnosis standard and Chinese medicine therapy of waist intervertebral disc prominent sickness.
易金根，中国中医科学院骨伤科研究所硕士，中国中医科学院望京医院脊柱科副主任医师。从事中医骨伤科临床二十余年，擅长诊治骨伤科疾病，尤其对脊柱及其相关性疾病的诊治具有丰富的经验。发表相关学术论文7篇。 讲座将要讨论椎间盘的解剖，生理，病理。腰椎间盘突出症的病因病理，临床表现，诊断标准以及中医药如何治疗腰椎间盘突出症。

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE 专家简介
Dr.Weidong Yu graduated from Shandong university of TCM in 1983, as bachelor of medicine. He graduated as Master of public health from school of public health, Free University of Brussels, Belgium in 1991. He has practiced traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine as a resident physician in the hospital affiliated to Binzhou College of medicine, Shandong, China from1983 to 1985. He worked as assistant research fellow at China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China from1985 to 1990. Dr.Yu has practiced acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in Belgium, California, USA, and Canada in past 18 years. Dr.Yu is an author of more than 30 publications in both English and Chinese literature and lectures internationally. He is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California, United States and a registered doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in the province of British Columbia, Canada. This lecture will focus on the TCM perspective of insomnia, treatment strategy, herbal formulation, acupuncture, moxibustion, life style modification etc.
于卫东, 注册高级中医师， 1983年毕业于山东中医药大学 获医学学士，1991年毕业于比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学医学院获公共卫生硕士。曾任山东滨州医学院附属医院 住院医师(1983至1985)，中国中医科学院助理研究员（1985至1990）。于医师在比利时，美国加州，加拿大进行中医针灸临床工作（1990至2008）。于医师曾在中英文医学文献发表30余篇论文论著。是加州执照针灸师，BC注册高级中医师。 講座將讨论中医对失眠的病因病机，治则，中药，针灸治疗，生活方式的调理。
